I'm really pleased to be sharing a handful of my favourite images from Phil and Helen's wedding at Best Western Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard, Chorley. It was an early start in the bridal room as Helen and her bridesmaids got ready. Although maybe nervous underneath, Helen was a sea of calm by the time I turned up.
Once the girls were ready, I popped across the hotel and met with Phil and his best man, Craig, whilst they nervously waited for the bride. Whilst waiting, Phil received a last minute gift that really brought huge emotion and clearly the gift meant a lot to him. Once settled, the groom and best man led the guests in a minute's silence as it was Armistice day when they got married. This was a very sweet touch and something I have not shared in at a wedding before.
Following this, the ceremony took place in the stunning Medieval Room at the hotel - a room that is absolutely bursting with character. What a special place to get married.
After the ceremony the guests spent some time in a room opposite, with a roaring open fire and lots of games set up. The hits of the day were Jenga and some form of dominoes (I was taught the name, but it escapes me now!). After this, the guests returned back for a lovely evening reception to celebrate the love of Phil and Helen.
